The Vivancos of Jalisco are masters of their craft — This family breathes, sleeps, and dreams tequila. You could even say it’s their lifeblood.
Sergio Cruz and Jose Manuel are the maestros; this intrepid duo knows everything about the business. For them, the cultivation, harvesting and distilling process is both a science and an art. To watch them in their natural environment was an honor and a privilege.

The first time we set foot on the Vivanco estate in Arandas.
The plentiful blue agave, an amazing terroir, the artisan distillery named ‘Mi Ranchito.’ What really sealed the deal for us was the family’s unusual approach to fermentation.
The Vivancos blast classical music at agave yeast culture to stimulate the cellular process! While we’re not sure what Mozart would have thought about his symphonies being used, we do know that the estate’s Blanco and Reposado are the smoothest tequilas in all of Mexico.
