A good host never leaves a question hanging.

The Name
What does “De Nada” mean?

De Nada is Spanish shorthand for “you’re welcome.” For us it’s more than a translation. It’s a philosophy: a gesture of generosity, an open invitation, and the instinct to make people feel at home. We take the name seriously, and not much else.

Is this a celebrity tequila?

No. De Nada is a family story. Our co-founder Danny Neeson started the brand to honor his mother, Natasha Richardson, and her extraordinary gift for making people feel welcome. The name on the bottle is hers in spirit, not a paid endorsement. Read the full story.

The Tequila
What does “additive-free” actually mean?

Tequila regulations allow producers to add glycerin, coloring, oak extract, and sweeteners without disclosing them on the label. Most brands do. We don’t. No additives means what you’re tasting is actually the agave: nothing overly sweet, nothing fake, just a really clean tequila. It also means your cocktails come out balanced instead of cloying.

Where is De Nada made?

In Arandas, high in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico, at Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados (NOM 1414). Master distillers Sergio Cruz and Cesar Vivanco craft De Nada from single-estate Blue Weber agave grown in red volcanic soil at 6,600 feet. Their family has been growing agave for generations.

What’s the difference between Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo?

Blanco is unaged: bright, agave-forward, subtly sweet with vanilla and lime. Reposado rests a minimum of four months in ex-bourbon American oak, picking up vanilla, caramel and oak. Añejo ages a minimum of one year in the same barrels, developing chocolate, spice, and a delicate finish.

How should I drink it?

However your evening calls for it. De Nada is built to perform in a margarita, a paloma, or a ranch water, and clean enough to enjoy neat. Our house recipes live over at Behind the Bar, including our Tommy’s Margarita made with the Reposado.

Is De Nada gluten free? Kosher?

Yes and yes. De Nada is 100% Blue Weber agave, which is naturally gluten free, and our bottles carry kosher certification. Each expression is bottled at 40% ALC/VOL (80 proof).

What’s the story with the bottle?

Our bottles are made from premium recycled glass, finished with a natural wood ball stopper, and designed to look at home on your counter, not locked in a cabinet. De Nada is also a carbon neutral brand: we measure our footprint and offset it. We just don’t make a show of it. And if you’ve met our aluminum Travel Bottle, the world’s first for tequila, that story lives on our story page.

I found De Nada in an aluminum bottle. Is that still you?

Proudly, yes. In 2024 we made the world’s first aluminum tequila bottle: 100% recycled, 100% recyclable, and unbreakable, which makes it the rightful king of coolers, boats, and beach days. Same additive-free tequila, same family behind it. There’s a limited amount left in the world, and it’s going quickly. We’d call it a collector’s item, but we’d rather you drink it.

Why did you add glass?

Not because we fell out of love with aluminum. It made history, and we’ll take it with us. Glass is for the table: the weight in your hand, the wood ball stopper, a bottle that earns its spot on the counter. The aluminum goes where glass can’t. Between the two, you’re covered from the dinner party to the tailgate.

Getting a Bottle
Where can I buy De Nada?

Order online at shop.denadatequila.com, or ask for De Nada at your local shop or bar. If your favorite spot doesn’t carry it yet, tell them. That’s how the good stuff spreads.

Do you make a good gift?

We’re biased, but yes. A bottle of De Nada is a hosting gift that says thank you and you’re welcome at the same time. Housewarmings, dinner parties, weddings, or the friend who always has people over.

Where do you ship, and how long does it take?

Every order is shipped by a licensed retailer in our network, to most states. Checkout confirms your address before you pay, so you will never be charged for an order that cannot ship. Orders usually leave within one to two business days and arrive in two to five. An adult (21+) has to sign for the box, and all sales are final once it ships. The full picture is on our shipping and returns page.

What if a bottle arrives broken?

Email orders@denadatequila.com within three days of delivery with your order number and clear photos or a short video of the bottle and the box. Say whether you would like a replacement or a refund; we review the photos and confirm by email. No need to ship anything back.

The Trade
I run a bar or restaurant. Why should I pour De Nada?

Because it performs. Additive-free, single-estate liquid means no excess sweetness throwing off your specs; it batches easily and works hard across a program. And your staff can tell the story in ten seconds and mean it: single-estate agave, a family distillery in Jalisco, founded to honor a mother’s gift for hospitality. Guests discover it at the bar and go looking for it at retail.

I’m a retailer or distributor. How do I stock De Nada?

We’d love to talk. Email orders@denadatequila.com and we’ll get you pricing, sell sheets, and point-of-sale support. We show up for our accounts: staff training, back bar cards, and activations that actually move bottles.
